Rebar Spike and Washer Set for Asphalt Parking Stop Installation

Anchor rubber parking stops and other parking garage items to asphalt securely using this heavy-duty installation set. Each kit includes one 14-inch rebar spike and a 5/8-inch washer. These components are designed to hold parking stops in place under daily vehicle traffic and variable outdoor conditions.

How to Install Rubber Parking Stops on Asphalt

Begin by drilling ½ inch diameter pilot holes through the asphalt to a depth of 3 inches. Clean the area and position the parking stop in its final location. Place a washer in each hole and insert the spikes, starting them by hand. Then hammer each spike in place until fully seated. On inclined surfaces, we recommend applying a bead of adhesive to the underside of the parking stop before anchoring to provide added holding strength.
